A cruel Vertex Legends bug is falling players into matches alone

A peculiarly mean Apex Legends bug is mistakenly dropping players into trios, duos, and even Arena matches without some teammates when the "Fill up Teammates" box is checked before matchmaking. After three drops into Olympus each past my lonesome, I'm starting to think the game hates me.

Respawn is sensitive of the issue, though No word as yet happening when a fix will cost deployed. Responding to a Reddit post about the bug's persistence, Respawn comms director Ryan Rigley expressed frustration that it's still pop up following planned fixes.

"God I hate this bug. We shipped some fixes with the mollify update that we mentation would cause IT. Just gonna have to take another shot at it."

Players first started experiencing accidental solo drops not long later the "Fill Teammates" push button was introduced in March's Chaos Theory event update. Moved players have a lot of theories about what is causing the hemipterous insect and how information technology might be avoided, but justified reports from those World Health Organization have repeatedly encountered the microbe since March aren't very consistent.

For instance, Reddit user Uncredited1's experience is all ended the place, just does seem to happen connected a cycle. "I just frolic trios. The firstborn threesome or four games, I am alone or with indefinite teammate. After that, I get a afloat team for most five or six games. Then the cycle repeats. It fluctuates, satisfactory days and bad, merely information technology does not look to affair what hour it is."

Until a result is finally saved, we're pretty much out of luck. What makes the squad fill bug and then frustrating is that you hind end't notice it's happening early and then crawfish of matchmaking. You only bed that you've been hit with it erst matchmaking has run its course, all players have loaded in, and you're finally greeted with a lonely character select screen.

On the bright side, this is the cold chance for me to drop into hot zones with nothing to lose and finally get groovy at Apex's shooting.
